Not really. When you offer your replays here in the forum they can be downloaded at any time, while you have to be online in Skype for people to download them. And the thing with being able to be online on Skype more than the IRC is also pretty wrong, since there are enough IRC clients to use which have the exact same appearance as Skype. Skype is a client aswell. While a Skype group is even laborious to set it up, the IRC is just easy to connect to and everyone would be there ... if anyone would actually use it.

In addition to that, IRC is the most popular communicating program in Toribash. If your clan doesn't have an IRC channel be ashamed.
