San Andreas was the best GTA.

GTAIV is realistic to the point it's not as fun any more. Playable, fun to an extent, but not as fun.

The thing I liked the most in GTA IV was the physics engine. That's the reason I kept playing it even after I had passed the game.
Push people to cliff edges then punching them and watch them land on their back. Priceless.

San Andreas was the best I liked..Vice City was easy so was San Andreas(except 1-3 missions)
