I don't know if its the feeling of being faster than others or just feeling so free and fast (How cliche is that?) is what keeps me motivated but I just really enjoy it.
Now I am running 400 M in 55 seconds or under. 14 second off in that race is pretty good, even though I am still no where near where i want to be.
I am 5"8'1/2 and 130 LB (Just so u can get a general idea)
But yeah, I'm a fast little fuck.
Lucky, athletics was always my top passion in highschool, but my school didnt exactly have a stellar athletics division.
I was a sprinter, I just liked to run, 100m and 200m, only ever got to run on an actual track twice, without track shoes. (thats never fun)
still managed to break into the 10 second times for 100m, 200m, while I always thought it was my specialty, I never had the training for it. I learned more from watching Bolt at the 2008 Olympics than I did throughout highschool.
So I played 7s rugby instead, I got to run atleast.
Breaking into that sub 1 minute time is a big step, keep focussing on on your rythm and your breathing.
I never had the patience to do the 400m well, that shit needs real stamina.
