in my opinion, I hate gimp.

Always been a photoshop boy! Not that I am any good at electronic art, but, photoshop it is.

Well, i don't do awesome art, but i mainly use Graphics Gale for spriting (seriously if you're even considering trying to get into pixel art then this is a super good program to have), Photoshop for a few odds and ends and Paint for doodly comics. ALL GLORY TO DOODLY COMICS.

I use potatochop CS5 extended. It's quite nice.

5 times out of 10 people will say gimp
3 times out of 10 people will say photoshop/illustrator
1.9 times out of 10 people will say paint.net
0.1 times out of 10 it will be something else.
