Also, you really should install firefox on your bro's pc. Tell him that you are doing him a great service ;)

Do that. :P
You don't even know how much better Firefox is than IE. Tell your brother, show him this thread, look it up. I have the same problems, but only on IE.
Thanks.

Sorry for horrible grammar

I could see that. But, the little icon at the top left of the window would give it away.
Thanks.

Run it.

Here's a lesson on smart surfing: don't run that. If someone directs you to a download page, unprompted, with no further instruction, or no information on what it is in the first place, chances are it's not safe. No personal offense to you, vins84.
Thanks.
Download Combofix to a USB flash disk ( http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/comb...o-use-combofix )

Then run it on your computer. It says 10 minutes, but it might take a while more so just be patient.

If you can access the internet after combofix is finished dealing with the nasty stuff, then just download MalwareBytes from www.malwarebytes.org, update it and scan your pc for yet more infections.

Then go ahead and download Norton Internet Security 2010 90 days trial: http://www.symantecstore.com/dr/sat1...ACHE_ID=321832
and fully scan your computer.

Trust me, these steps will work on 95% of the cases when there's malware/trojans/rogue software on your computer. Enjoy it cuz you will be better protected for 90 days plus have the right anti-malware tools to use whenever you suspect that some nasties are going to make a party inside your computer.

If you really want to be sure that everything is okay you can download yet another good tool to kill spyware called "Spybot Search & Destroy" by going here: http://www.safer-networking.org

Fixed. Norton 360 shot the spyware in the head. Someone close this?
