If you're just having it at home, get an Alienware M15X or M17X, if you take it with you to school or wherever, get an Alienware M11X.

I would go for something in the Macbook range. Macbooks go from the 1000$+ range. (excluding taxes and any other fees) I don't really know how well it goes with TB, though.

EDIT: If you want Windows though, Dell XPS Studio would probably be good. I have one that I don't use for TB. It's pretty great. You got your webcam wit funny effects, too. It's real fun. Plus, dell has the video chat site.
