I think there is 1 dot per side, and the rest are reflections and refractions etc.

the main goal when you first start out, is to have people know what you made :P

yes, its is a cube which i have subsurfed and subdivided with two cuts, taken out the middle face on each side,mae it translucent, then placed a light source in side it

Edit: if anyone knows how to save and animation inn blender so that i can upload it here i would be grateful if you could tell me how

on ur buttons toolbar, click "scene (F10)" which will show you a bunch of stuff. In the sub button you will need to click "Render Buttons", then click "Render".


The animate button will render all frames in range ;-)

EDIT: these will save to "Ctmp\" by default.

Then just use a gif animation program to composite the images.

Use a sepcialist Gif animator.
I use Seltco Banenrshop Gif Animator, and i remove watermakrs from gif produced by said program with Microsoft Gif Animator.

It works really well, even with 100000+ frames. And it optimises the frames for minimal size =)
