let it grow some more, you find ways of dealing with it/get used to it.
your hair is at that awkward length that everyone finds uncomfortable.
once it gets a bit more length, you can do something with it.

I get my hair cut with a slight curve so it doesnt sit on my eyes, makes teh path easier to manage and wear a headband around the house when it gets a bit too long.

I got it cut after showing my face at work today and my friend says:
Boy, you shaggy.
