Wrong, it actually does work. Why would people waste tc on a feature that doesn't work? I'd you actually sometimes look through people's trans history, you'll see when someone claims a bounty because they would gain the amount of tc that the bounty was worth.

If you look, you can see that there are a bunch of claimed bounties out there. Be sure to do you research next time before you say something doesn't work
