watersurf they used the guy who plays Eric Foreman on That 70's Show for Venom. And Venom is supposed to be Brock a guy on a football team.

Jim Carrey as Carnage isn't that much of a stretch. They just need a guy who is mentally unstable, and Jim carrey seems to fit that.
