Won my first League of Legends tournament last night. 5 teams, randomized balanced teams among the people who showed up. My least played role was mid, but since I was the highest ELO of my teammates that's where I ended up.
LeBlanc, 11-7-14, 26 wards placed, 301 CS, Game Victory in 49m50s. Highest multi-kill I got was a triple.
Most notable point: Their carry was a Diamond 5 Ryze, who ended 8-6-14.
Notable Strategy: Get Hecarim a fast Spirit Visage to avoid feeding the Ryze player, get good Teleport/Homeguard initiations off.
Final score of game: 44 to 30
LeBlanc, 13-5-12, 243 CS, 23 wards placed, Game Victory in 40m31s, Highest Multi-Kill I got was a triple.
Most notable opponent: My lane opponent was a Diamond 5 Veigar main, he dismantled his Diamond 5 LeBlanc opponent last game. He ended 4-7-2.
Notable strategy: Create picks with deep vision wards, utilizing our Hecarim, Morgana, and LeBlanc. Many times I flashed into 1v3s to kill Jinx and get out. Proof was in the pudding: My damage dealt was double their Jinxs.
Final score: 41 to 16
Lot of fun, made some cash, and learned a lot. I feel really comfortable on champions with spell casting outplay potential, so I'll be focusing my attention towards those champions now. Plan to learn Vladimir top lane.
Only have played him twice now. 14-2-8 and 5-4-5 were my scores. I dumpstered a Singed, and got destroyed by a Silver Swain. Swain is definitely not a match up you want to see as Vlad.
