I stopped because it took up too much time, and I wasn't getting great quick. I also stopped because I decided to get back into Toribash so that I could finish out a goal I've had for years of winning a Clan League.

Anywho, I was looking for a new activity, and then I saw my University was hosting a party for Season 4 Worlds at some gaming place off campus. Never been. So I went, and they had a 1v1 Tournament. I hadn't played the game since, but I decided to enter for fun. In the semi-finals I faced a platinum player who I knew was better than me, who ended up becoming one of my two best friends now, who's an unbelievable top laner. I cheesed him, won, and made it to the finals where I would go on to face my now coach, a diamond player. Out of the fun of the situation, we agreed on a Blitzcrank Thresh final. He won, I got a little cash prize, and he'd end up being my other great friend.

I started back up as a Silver 2 player (from when I placed Bronze 3 back when I first got into it), and was slowly improving but not enough in time to get Gold before the season ended. Missed it by 5 days. But I wanted to be Diamond because that's where you see all respectable players at. That's when I felt like people valued your opinion. So 4 to 6 days a week, I duo queued with the diamond player. We always face very high ELO people because of his natural high ELO + the duo q elo bonus. I kept getting dumpstered every game until I got less and less dumpstered.

From October to present time- I've climbed from Silver 2 to Platinum 2. I also have an insane win ratio over like 35 games as Malphite top, despite being a now ADC main. I'm constantly trying to improve, and I hope to get Diamond within the next month or two.

But- I couldn't have improved that much without those two. And naturally, I love teaching anyways. So if I can do anything to help Toribash out, since I love helping out this community (Which is why I worked for Toribash for so long...), I love to.
