1.9 is pretty cool, the new things added are:
o NPCs they are just tests for them though, so I dont think they do much...
o SNOWMEN! place 2 snowblocks and then a pumpkin on top, they follow you and attack enemies :3 (edit: leave a trail of snow when they walk on grass)
o Lava Slimes-- found in nether
o nether dungeons
o nether brick and fence
o ghast tears-- dropped by ghasts, can use 9 (1 in each square of crafting bench) to make a iron ingot
o gold tear things (has no name yet) dropped by zombie pigs and can make gold ingots
o swampy water in swamp biome
o mushroom biome
o mooshrooms-- red cows w/ mushrooms on them, and can shave mushrooms off w/ sheers
o better shading for biomes

this is all that I have found that is new so far...
if yall find anything else out please share!

Is there any good multiplayer servers that I can join?
I can't really find good servers that actually work, and single player is getting REALLY boring for me.
I found like 50 diamonds in one day in sp, and it's not really getting fun anymore.

so after playing casually on a new minecraft 1.8 world, i went to the nether to explore the new 1.9 content it held.

Erm, shmay0naise, I seem to be trapped in the arena. When I type /ma leave arena, it says 'Internal error occurred while trying to preform this command'.

Also, everytime I die, I respawn in the arena, and all the other commands such as /home do not work.
