Toribash 3.9 development
Hi,

For those who want to test the alpha releases and follow development of 3.9 I will post updates here:

Here is the first alpha release. This is ONLY the exe file. Put it into your current toribash directory to test.

New features I am testing in this build:
- Real time ray tracing - enable it in options. works with GeForce 9800 GT
- Shaders menu (open with ctrl-h)
- Reflective non-shader bodyparts/joints

Hmmm the reflections with shaders on leave the edges looking a bit white and pixelly.
Totally slows down the computer and ends up shutting down TB.
The force/lax look super bright.

I think you should make some thing like this but not so taxing on a laptop/pc.
Something for everyone instead for just those that can run it on their expensive stuff.

If you activate shaders together with the RayTracing option, and disable bump-mapping(seems this is causing them not to show up) the textures show up.

8600gtsli is only getting 30fps? You should be getting more than that. This laptop has a 8600gt (single) and it's getting better than that.

Set a replay on repeat (use hampa's headkick one) and do /bm
Leave that running & see what average it comes up with, post it on here.

[BTW Hampa - your flames kill frame rates lol]
