You need to get a stable speed, then you can start going faster.
It works for me. Remember getting 13k or something on this.

Tablets have something that can make the work space less and help you out with the spinning and help with the stabilization.
(Mostly wacom products, don't know about other cheap tablets)

usually in hard maps I spin slowly on the spinner (around 200 rpm)
to save my ass from failing.

With a tablet your average would be 350rpm and I think if I put my head into it I can do 400 but my pen would suffer
