Erich fires his crossbow at the sound of the cough, and then moves back and in an arc, while reloading.

Another step forward. The Pale Horse begins to rise, and the snowstorm increases in power substantially. The pressure increases, and it feels as if the air itself is weighing down upon the world. The snow around the Rider pulses upwards at another step forward.

Your overestimation of your ability and your position are beginning to outweigh your usefulness. You are expendable. This is your final warning.

The bolt whizzes past one of the bandits, and he turns to the direction of the bolt.

"Over there!"

The duo creep forward, side to side.

Erich sees that the pair are no longer back to back, and gives them a wide berth. He moves in closer after he has maneuvered around, and throws his blade into his opponents back and extremely close range.

One of the bandits feels a terrible sting in his back, and immediately recognizes the cold metal. He falls to his knees, yelling in pain, groping for the knife.

His partner immediately performs an about face, and looks for the source.

Erich immediately gives him a wide berth, avoiding detection, while readying his crossbow.

Upon hearing this warning she vanishes.

The bandit looks to his partner, and panics. He begins coughing loudly, and is brought to his knees by his lack of breath.

The wounded bandit finally grasps the handle of the throwing knife, and attempts feebly to pull it out, still making sounds of extreme pain.

Snowy Mountain Plateau

The White Rider mounts his Pale Horse and dematerializes. Immediately following, the plateau crumbles and causes a massive landslide down the side of the mountain.

Erich hears his opponents weakening and moves in for the final kill, coming up behind the man who is coughing. He swings the knife in a downward arc, into his back.

The bandit continues to cough heavily, and does not hear the assassin creeping behind him. As the knife pierces and shatters his middle spin, he slumps to the ground, nerves in shock and body paralyzed. He begins to choke on his own blood.

The wounded bandits notices the assassin, and in a surge of adrenaline, yanks the knife out of his back. Before he can put it to use, the pain hits him like a tidal wave, and he begins to spasm.
