It's ppc marketing. It's differentiated between click-through (which would be signing up for toribash) and impressions (just clicking Gamer's link). While impressions are important for Toribash's page rank, it doesn't do much for Toribash itself.

As such, click on that link as much as you want until they take that deal away.
