I'd recommend getting EVGA Geforce GTX graphics cards. Either like a 650 or 660 Ti work be great, and any better would sort of be overkill. That's what I plan on buying when I build my pc.

Just keep in mind the graphics card is the most important part for gaming! If you don't plan on playing super-intense games, then don't spend as much money. Look up a bunch of benchmarks and reviews before you buy.

This is a short list I found on tomshardware of benefits.

Geforce:
CUDA
Physx
3D Surround

Radeon:
Eyefinity
APP
AMD3D

I couldn't tell you much more, I'm just an amateur, so don't take my word as gospel.
