So what is this Judo League anyway?
Things are looking good for our own Judo community, as it has grown to about 70 people. People have come from near and far either to get the JL tag, stay in touch with people or show off their Judo ability.

This means, for whatever reason, that we are almost good to go. In this stage of the development we will have to get some info out to members and make sure everybody knows that this is where stuff is going on atm. We will also have to reconfirm applicants, and let them know just what the JL is all about.

So what is the Judo League, you ask. Well, its a League for Judo players. I might have explained this to some of you already, but here it is again.

The Judo League will be a series of duels between members of each division. There are too many people to just have one League, so we will have to run atleast 3 divisions.

In these divisions, duels will be held between participants. They will each have to meet every other player once, for a first to 10 duel. Based on the score count, the winner will get awarded points, either 5 points for 10-0, 10-5 (or better) 3 points and just winning 2 points.

These points will be kept track of in a League system, which in time will tell whos the best of the best.

There will be 20 people in each division, so youll have to fight 19 duels. Not just randomly tho, there will be rounds where ur next opponent will be listed.

The first season will be a bit different tho, since nobody is ranked in the JL system as of yet. We will randomly divide people into 3 groups, and the 6-7 best players of each these groups will make out the Judo League next season. The next 6-7 of each group will be put in JL2 and the rest in JL3. From there on you will have to get promoted (by getting better and winning more) to move up, or to avoid going down, stay clear of relegation.

4 People will automatically either get promoted or relegated, while 2 will play off for the spot in either the division above or below.

I hope this makes things a little clearer.

Are there any questions?

also remember, nothing of this is written in stone so we could just change/modify how we want to do this.

It is supposed to be a community by the community for the community anyway.
