Adom - Throwing rocks on little girls

Okay, so first of all, not really expecting anyone to be interested in this.
Why?
Because you do not know how2gaems.

This is a roguelike, so... there is a couple of things here that might scare you away.

You dislike dying? - Do not play this game.
You dislike losing a character forever and ever when you die? - Do not play this game.
You like graphics? - Do not play this game.
You dislike complex games? - Do not play this game.
But you like fun? - Well, just play this game.

Anyway, as said, this is a roguelike, and you will die, and you will lose your character forever when you do.

Adom is extremely complex with a steep learning curve, it might be hard getting into, and you will probably give up as soon you see how it looks like.
But when you actually get somewhere in the game you might just enjoy it.

I do love this game, and I've been playing it for a good while now.
Because of all the random stuff that's going on, one playthrough will never end up like the other ones.
The huge collection of items, weapons, skills, attributes etc keeps your interests up.
But as said, you'll need a while getting into the game.

Roguelikes is not for everyone.

You have 12 races to choose from and 20 different classes and shittons of monsters that will kill you.

And I just noticed that I am way to lazy to type down everything this game has to offer, so copypaste forever.

There are twenty different playable classes in ADOM with a variety of abilities, skills, strengths, and weaknesses. This page lists all of the available classes with a brief description of their features. Some classes are noted as "Newbie Friendly", which indicates that this is a class that the community generally feels are, on balance, classes that tend to be easier for new players to learn the game on. This is with the disclaimer that while some classes may be relatively easy to play in general, some racial combinations may be particularly undesirable (eg. Beastfighters tend to be relatively easy classes, but Troll Beastfighters are quite challenging).

Your character's race has a strong impact on level advancement rate, maximum age, hit points and power points regeneration, and starting alignment, attributes, equipment, and skills. Also, certain races have bonuses or penalties in other areas. See each race's page for details.
In the following table, each race is given a brief description, and the granted skills, starting alignment, relative speed of level advancement, and relative lifetime are listed. Most of this information is taken from the ADOM manual itself. Again, for detailed information (such as starting age), see each race's page.

Well, as you might think, there is a LOT of shit that I'll need to put here, and I'll probably keep working on this thread a bit later, if not, well you'll have everything you need on the wikia.

I'll just leave this right here.
