In the beginning hampa created the heaven and toribash.
And toribash was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of hampa moved upon the face of toribash.
And hampa said, Let there be toris: and there was toris.
And hampa saw the toris, that it was good: and hampa divided the red tori from the blue tori.
And hampa called the red tori Tori, and the blue tori he called Uke. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And hampa said, Let there be a main menu in the midst of toribash, and let it divide the single player from the options and such.
And hampa made the main menu, and divided the single player which were part of actual gameplay from the options which were not part of gameplay: and it was so.
And hampa called the main menu The Menu. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
And hampa said, Let the multiplayer gameplay under The Menu be gathered together unto one place, and let the online gameplay appear: and it was so.
And hampa called the online gameplay multiplayer; and the gathering together of the games being hosted called he servers: and hampa saw that it was good.
And hampa said, Let toribash bring forth blood, the dismemberments, and the decaptitations, whose unattached heads shall roll upon the floor: and it was so.
And toribash brought forth blood, the dismemberments, and the decaptitations, whose unattached heads shall roll upon the floor: and hampa saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the third day.
And hampa said, Let there be lines on the floor of toribash to divide the arena from the disallowed area such that a player will be disqualified if he leaves the arena; and let there be other options, such as dismember threshold, and engage distance, and such:
And let them be for such options in the menu of toribash to give order upon toribash: and it was so.
And hampa made two great sets of options; the greater options to rule the gameplay, and the lesser options to govern the servers: he made a checkbox to save a player's password also.
And hampa set them in the menu of toribash to give order upon toribash,
And to rule over the gameplay and over the servers, and to divide the aikido from the judo, and to divide the private servers from the public: and hampa saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
And hampa said, Let the internet bring forth abundantly the players that hath life, and those that may discuss toribash in a meta capacity in the forums.
And hampa created great players, and every player that playeth, which the internet brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every forumer after his kind: and hampa saw that it was good.
And hampa blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the games and servers, and let forumers multiply in the servers.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
And hampa said, Let the internet bring forth the living forumers after his kind, sheeple, and creeping thing, and beast of the forums after his kind: and it was so.
And hampa made the beast of the forums after his kind, and sheeple after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the forums after his kind: and hampa saw that it was good.
And hampa said, Let us make staff in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the player in the game, and over the forumers of the forums, and over the sheeple, and over all toribash, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon toribash.
So hampa created staff in his own image, in the image of hampa created he him; smods and admins created he them.
And hampa blessed them, and hampa said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish toribash, and subdue it: and have dominion over the players of the game, and over the forumers of the forums, and over every living thing that posteth or playeth upon toribash.
And hampa said, Behold, I have given you every kind of brutal violence, which is upon the face of all toribash, and every subforum, in the which all suitable posts may have home; to you it shall be for the taking.
And to every player of the game, and to every forumer of the forums, and to every thing that creepeth upon toribash, wherein there is life, I have given everything for the taking: and it was so.
And hampa saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
