Yet another indie game has been released as a beta. It's pretty damn fun for a pass-time game, but gets pretty complicated/frustrating (in a good way) as it goes.
Story
A Dystopian Document Thriller.
The communist state of Arstotzka has ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin.
Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists. Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.
Basically, all you do is make sure people who pass have a valid passport. At least, that's how it starts. Then new rules keep piling in, such as workers have to have work permits, you have to search people for weapons if those people are from "x" state. Make sure names are valid, picture is valid, ticket is valid....

Awaken, awaken, awaken, awaken. Take the land, that must be taken. Awaken, awaken, awaken, awaken. Devour worlds, smite forsaken
By the way for those who didn't know, the game has been updated and is now on steam. Story has an ending now, there's an endless mode, and frankly, it's pretty damn amazing. Totally worth the 10 bucks.
This game is really... hard! And the conditions quickly stack up one above the other. My whole family died after like 7 days because I didn't pass enough clients per day.
POSSIBLE SPOILER DON'T OPEN IF YOU DIDN'T PLAY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
helping an order with one out of two of his agents. If I hadn't accepted the 1000 USD gift they gave me for doing that, they wouldn't have suspected anything and I would've gotten away clean :< 6-7 days later, game ends for making a mistake a week (in the game) in the past
RESPONSE TO POSSIBLE SPOILER DON'T OPEN IF YOU DIDN'T PLAY AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Not accepting the $1000 won't impact you at all, since they take your money and stick you in prison anyways. I tried both upgrading to a better apartment and not, and it ends the same both ways. Deny the bribe and you can continue playing. Also, if you helped out EZIC in any way so far, you might as well start over now, since you will eventually be arrested for having ties to them, after the 20th day or so. Or if you're going for the "every ending" echievement, keep on playing.
All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That’'s how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.
