Ok... so I have bought a game called prince of persia the forgotten sands for my PC...
and I'm completely stuck!
I'm now in the "The palace" chapter...
and when I enter the first door, I see 3 monsters putting their hands together and doing something weird...
anywayz! I jump on the buttons (or whatever you call them) and then a pole comes out...
so when I jump on it, it moves down a lil' bit...
That pole is supposed to open me another door... BUT IT DOESN'T!!!
Why is this happening? Is it some kinda glitch or somethin'?

Might you first try referring to the thousands of walkthroughs on the internet already?

they didn't say anything about the palace bug

Maybe it's not a bug, and you should try following the guide all the way through for that particular section?
Perhaps a block you haven't pushed, or a lever you haven't pulled?
