So ya wanna find the distance of line AC,
but you know that all you got is AB an BC,
If you know that angle B is 90 degrees,
findin that distance is easy, you’ll see.
Imma tell you how, so don’t get tense,
all you need is your head, an a little bit o’ sense.
You’re gonna hafta use a good friend o’ mine,
so sit back an’ lemme tell ya ‘bout the Pythagorus rhyme.

Take AB and square it, do the same with BC.
Add ‘em together, find somethin’ special, you’ll see.
‘cuz when you take that total, and find it’s root,
then you’ve got you’re answer, ain’t that astute.
This guy Pythagorus, he was real smart,
He invented this theorem and took it to heart.
